Mexico - Actors on tour

well a loong day! We aré now in Mexico after leaving the theatre in Buenos Aires at 2am on The 21st, coming vía Peru & Costa Rica took us almost exactly 24hours!!!
Our plane upon arrival was surrounded by 6 federales cars With lights flashing and we were all greeted by two officers as we stepped off of the plane, not sure who they were looking for but my disguise held up and the other actors and I got into the country with minimal searching...

Below are some photos from Qurétaro, Mexico, check out friendsoftheperformers on audioboo.fm soon!

HOT TIPS! There are some very food savy people here so contact me directly via my hotel network blog email www.grn@globaljet.me if you are a "Foody" for local chefs hot spots

Cuernavaca & Morelia

Well, we were only in Cuernavaca one night and it´s a shame because it looked like it would be another fun place to hang out for awhile. The theatre was amazing, the best camarines (dressing rooms) sound system, lighting, loading dock etc we have come across so far (even better than DF.) I guess its because its is quite new, so it has all the modcons. Unfortunately it was dark when we arrived and when we left so I would not recognise the OTEATRO theatre if I walked past the front of it!
So, back through DF again to Morelia, nice to have a weekend off.
HOT TIPS: Morelia has a better money exchange rate than Aguascaliente 11:40 or Leôn 11:10 with 11:60 without documents or 11:70 with.

Reynosa

On the border with USA, Reynosa funnily enough doesn´t have a great number of people wanting to learn English, but the students that  came to see the show were very good and even knew most of the songs!
San Luis- Special Performance. The weather in parts of Mexico dropped to -19 or more, alot of the pipes in the cities couldn´t take the extreme cold and burst, as a result lots of the schools were either closed or missing hundreds of the students, so today we did a one off performance for those kids that missed the shows and did a quick meet and greet with the little ones..
