The thing I remember best about Ecuador was that everyday, after every show it was almost guaranteed to rain, and I mean a lot of rain! as Forrest Gump would say, "Fat rain"
One morning we arrived and we were all locked outside, there was a man inside whos job it was to look after the place at night, but as he had been paid the night before, he had bought a bottle of alcohol and drank it all! We could not wake him up! We were banging on the theatre doors as hard as we could, and phoning everyone we could think of, but nothing.
Eventually the students and teachers began to arrive to see the performance, you can imagine how surprised they were to see all of the actors standing around waiting outside!
Luckily, the man inside woke up, he came to the door looking and smelling terrible, he didn't say sorry or anything.
